Call for Guest Writers

Call for Guest Writers

Voice4Change England (V4CE) is looking for contributing guest writers and article submissions for our online News page.

This is an exciting opportunity to be featured on our new website and to share important information and viewpoints relating to the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community and the voluntary sector.

We welcome articles up to 1000 words in the form of opinion pieces, interviews, news items, guides and more. Take a look at our current articles as a guideline on writing style. As a tip, write in an informative but mostly conversational style, avoiding complicated jargon or lengthy sentences.

Topics can be international but should have a focus on the UK and the interests of V4CE, namely BAME experiences. Example topics include:

  • Arts & culture
  • BAME personal stories
  • Business and economy
  • Current news and affairs
  • Immigration
  • Politics and policies
  • Race and inequality
  • Social good and investment
  • Third sector
  • Windrush

Please ensure that all information provided is factual and proof-checked at the time of submission. Any sources or images supplied should be accompanied with full credit.

If you would like to submit a pitch for an article, please provide an outline title and summary with key points to katrina@voice4change-england.co.uk. Note that all submissions will be voluntary and unpaid. Do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
