Shared Futures Conference

Shared Futures Conference

The Shared Futures conference took place virtually over two days in April 2021 and was hosted by The Runnymede Trust. The aim of the conference was to bring together representatives from Black-led charity organisations and funding bodies, to have an open discussion about the future of the funded sector. The event was sponsored by The National Lottery Community Fund and The CREME project, and charities who attended and contributed included the Ubele Initiative, Race on The Agenda (ROTA), the Black Training and Enterprise Group (BTEG), and Voice4Change England (V4CE).

As well as keynote speeches and panel discussions, there were also opportunities for speed networking and more intimate round table discussions. V4CE’s director Kunle Olulode MBE led one such roundtable.

For those who were not able to attend, you can watch a video of his short speech here: https://youtu.be/vUQP_y20WdI
